Construction Management

General Contracting Services is typically provided to an owner on a Lump Sum Bid total or Guaranteed maximum price (GMP).  Where the construction documents (Plans & Specifications) have already been completed by the owner’s architectural, civil, and MEP Design Teams.  Utilizing our vast network of Pre-Qualified Subcontractors, JTD Construction will deliver a quality project on Budget and Schedule.  General Contracting Services include:

  • Document Review

  • Cost Estimating

  • Pre-Qualified Subcontractor Review & Management

  • Value Engineering and Cost Control

  • Procurement of Material

  • Project Scheduling

  • Submittal and Shop drawing review

  • Progress Meetings

  • Construction administration

  • Safety and Quality Control

JTD Construction offers design/build services for all stages of construction as well.  From Pre-design to project closeout we can staff the entire Architectural, Civil, and MEP Design team or work with an owner’s selected team thru the construction process.  JTD Construction will listen, plan, and schedule every action to make your project a success.  The design/build process gives the contractor the ability to overlap design and construction during certain aspects of the overall project schedule.  This process accelerates your overall construction schedule and reduces the project cost.​

JTD Construction offers Construction Management Services.  Construction Management typically involves two phases. Pre-Construction and Construction.  With this service the Construction Manager works on an agreed upon monthly fee during the Pre-Construction and Construction phases, and makes a set fee on the overall construction value.  The Construction Management Service is an open book process from subcontractor award to monthly accounting reports.

With over 28 years of experience in the public and private sectors of commercial construction, JTD Construction has developed the knowledge and relationships with subcontractors to complete all required trades of the construction industry.  Our past projects include: Assisted Living Facilities, Elderly Housing, Affordable Housing, Private & Public Schools, Libraries, Fire Stations, Police Stations, Town Halls, Colleges, Track and Field Complex’s and commercial manufacturing facilities. Our focus will begin with our client’s expectations, objectives, budget considerations, and schedule.   Through pro-active communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and work ethic. We will bring your project in on time and on budget. Whether it’s a $100,000.00 project or a $15,000,000.00 program we have the enthusiasm and confidence to complete your project’s individual needs. JTD Construction’s expertise covers a full range of construction services including: General Contracting, Design/Build, and Construction Management.  No matter which method a client should choose, you can depend on JTD Construction to bring your project to reality.

  • Loos Estate  (Complete Removal of Existing 75 Square Slate Roofing System and Replacement with New North Country 18” X 10” Slate, including new Copper Valley’s, and flashings.  Repointing and flashing of existing masonry)
